Certified information systems auditor

The certified information systems auditor (CISA) certification is used to signify that an auditor has attained a certain level of knowledge about the control and security of information systems. A CISA holder should be able to assess vulnerabilities, report on compliance, and institute controls within a business. The CISA certification is promulgated by ISACA, which is a nonprofit organization that provides guidance and benchmarks to organizations that use information systems.
