Year-to-date net income

Year-to-date net income is the after-tax earnings from the beginning of an entity’s fiscal year to the present reporting date. For example, if the fiscal year of a business is the same as its calendar year and it has released an income statement through July 31, then the income statement should contain year-to-date net income that spans the period from January 1 to July 31.
