Paid vacation days

Paid vacation days allow an employee to be paid, despite not working. The number of paid vacation days granted to an employee is based on the total number of vacation weeks granted per year and the number of days worked thus far within the year. The employer accounts for paid vacation days as a current liability, which is cleared from the books when a person uses vacation days.
