Uniform CPA exam

The uniform CPA exam must be passed before a person can qualify as a certified public accountant, along with education and experience requirements. The exam is a lengthy multi-part test that is used to examine the knowledge of a test taker in accounting, auditing, and regulatory subjects. The exam is taken electronically. Passing this exam is a major hurdle for prospective auditors, since the pass rate has historically been somewhat less than 50%.
