Credit Insurance
Definition: Credit insurance is a guarantee by a third party against non-payment by a customer. It can be used for both domestic and international receivables. The cost of credit insurance can exceed one-half percent of the invoiced amount, with higher costs for riskier customers and substantially lower rates for customers who are considered to be in excellent financial condition.
