    Quick Ratio

Definition: The quick ratio is the ratio of cash, marketable securities, and accounts receivable to current liabilities. The ratio does not include inventory or prepaid expenses. The quick ratio should be higher than 1:1, and is an excellent test of an entity's short-term ability to meet its cash requirements.
